My monthly plan allows you the flexibility to pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you’re only paying your designer when you have work available for them.
Once subscribed, you’re able to add as many design requests to your queue as you’d like, and they will be delivered one by one based on the specifics of the plan you purchased.
Phenomeneil offers you convenience in how you request designs by using Trello as a default. Some alternative ways you can request designs is by assigning me a task via your preferred PM tracking tool (Jira. Linear, ADO, etc.), sharing a Google doc, sharing a wireframes (for guiding visual design), or even recording a brief video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out). Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello or online, for tracking, I’m open to it.
First passes and revisions on most design requests are completed within 24 to 48 hours – based on an 8 hr. working day. However, more complex requests can take longer and will be agreed upon jointly.
You might be surprised to hear this, but Phenomeneil is actually an agency of one. I am an experienced Principal Product Designer with over 15 years of broad experience. This means you’ll work directly with me, Neil, the founder and Principal Product Designer. However, simultaneous requests may be completed by fellow designers – though strictly overseen by me.
No worries! Revisions and iterations are included in all my plans. You won’t have to worry about extra hours being billed since all my plans are a flat, fixed rate. I’ll continue to revise the design until you’re 100% satisfied!
More involved requests are broken down by Phenomeneil. This applies to full-scale website or mobile app designs and re-designs, exploratory UI/UX work, etc. Typically, you should expect to receive a reasonable amount of work – such as individual artifacts – within 24 to 48 hours, dependent on the plan you chose to purchase.
Yes, some. Phenomeneil product design does not cover the following: front-end design/coding, 3D modeling or animations, document design (medical forms, etc.), packaging and print design (magazines, books, etc.). Although, I have experience in many of these, they are not included in my plans – but can be negotiated separately.
That’s OK too. You can pause your subscription when necessary and un-pause when you have future design needs. The remainder of time within a month of your subscription will not go to waste.
Perhaps you only have one or two design requests at the moment. That’s where pausing your subscription comes in handy. Billing cycles are based on 31 day period. Let’s say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. This means that the billing cycle will be paused and you’ll have 10 days of service remaining to be used when you un-pause again.
